ISE Partners and The Women’s Vault have collaborated to create this unique workshop, enabling professional new Mums to invest in their professional and personal development.
All proceeds raised from the workshop will go to Working Chance, the UK’s only charity supporting women with convictions into employment.
The workshop has been designed for professional new Mums on parental leave right now, or those who have returned to work within the last 18 months.
The workshop will be an excerpt from The Women’s Vault’s key foundational online programme, ‘Return to Work with Confidence’, enabling professional new Mums, particularly those in corporate jobs including male dominated industries, prepare for the mental, emotional and physical transition as they return to the workplace.
The interactive and practical workshop will be delivered by The Women’s Vault Founder, Olivia Bath, who provides training and workshops to professional women, including new Mums, to help them accelerate their career and achieve work/life balance.
The idea to deliver the workshop was conceived by Eva Rode-Hilbert and Olivia Bath, who were discussing their personal experiences of ‘juggling’ their busy jobs with a family, along with new challenges being faced by women right now, including returning to work remotely, with so many having to start back from parental leave working from home.
Eva Rode-Hilbert, Director, ISE Partners, explains: “Right now there is such a need in our communities to support each other - particularly with so many women challenged with working from home; returning to work from parental leave remotely; and juggling home and family life. It made sense to come together with The Women’s Vault to help women in a really practical way."
"I had previously had the pleasure to help Working Chance on an interview readiness workshop and the charity is performing a unique service to both help women directly but also challenge government policy and employer attitudes towards hiring women with criminal convictions. It would be great if through our promotion of the workshop, more of our network (many of whom are in HR or Communications functions with some of the UK’s top employers) can learn more about the charity’s work."
Lizzy Jewell, Head of Communications and Engagement at Working Chance said: “The work landscape has changed unrecognisably in the last year - and a woman with a conviction in her past is feeling this particularly keenly. Sometimes, a second chance is just what is needed to reset a woman’s life and allow her to thrive. We’re delighted that ISE Partners and The Women’s Vault have selected us as their chosen charity, and we’re proud to share their belief that meaningful work for women is a path to independence and a sense of purpose.”
Olivia adds: “When I returned to work in 2019, I had a six month old baby, I returned to a bigger role at my work and did it in a Compressed Work Week.
“I couldn’t find support that was specific to the challenges across two key areas of my life - my motherhood and career - and how I could balance these two roles that I loved. It inspired me to create an online programme and community for other women who are career-driven but want life outside of work too. I am so pleased to have collaborated with ISE Partners and Working Chance to deliver this workshop.”
This workshop forms part of a broader series of workshops and Masterclasses throughout March and April hosted by ISE Partners for its clients and candidates.
The workshops and Masterclasses are being delivered by The Women’s Vault and are on topics related to support professional and personal development, from negotiation to personal brand and boundary setting.
