Overview

We are hiring for a successful private equity firm backed by high-net-worth and established institutional investors, including some of the world’s largest pension funds. Though newly established, they’ve already closed multiple successful transactions and have exceeded fundraising targets for their first two fund launches. The culture of the small London office is direct, results-driven, and unapologetically transactional. If you thrive in a challenging, no‑frills environment, this role offers unparalleled insight into deal-making and high-stakes corporate strategy.

As the Executive Assistant to the Founder, you will be the linchpin ensuring his days are flawlessly organised, his priorities seamlessly executed, and his time optimised from a business and private perspective. You will not be expected to form a personal rapport—your mission is efficiency, professionalism, and unwavering discretion. This role has a five-day office requirement (Mayfair location).

Key Responsibilities
  • Calendar & Travel Management: Prioritise and schedule all meetings, calls, and business travel with minimal guidance; anticipate conflicts and resolve autonomously.
  • Email & Correspondence: Screen, filter, and draft high‑impact communications, escalate urgent matters and summarise key threads.
  • Project Coordination: Drive ad hoc projects (e.g., investor decks, data requests) to completion, often under tight deadlines.
  • Document Preparation and CRM Management: Assemble briefing materials, meeting agendas, and deal summaries; distil complex data into concise, actionable insights. Keep Salesforce CRM updated with contact details and actionable items
  • Gatekeeping & Liaison: Manage all inbound requests (internal and external), directing stakeholders appropriately while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Private Support: Some high-level research for private matters, including complex holiday and travel itineraries
Personal Traits
  • Unflappable Under Pressure: High emotional resilience—able to maintain composure during last‑minute changes, aggressive timelines, and demanding stakeholders.
  • Self‑Starter: Exceptionally organised, proactive, and resourceful. You identify issues before they arise and solve them independently.
  • Transactional Mindset: You prioritise tasks over pleasantries, focusing on outcomes rather than social niceties. You’re comfortable working in an environment where culture is secondary to performance.
  • Discreet & Trustworthy: Absolute confidentiality with sensitive financial and personnel information.
  • Advanced Communicator: Polished written and verbal skills; able to draft business‑critical documents and liaise with senior executives.
  • Tech‑Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, iOS and Salesforce is essential. Familiarity with project‑management tools or AI productivity software is highly beneficial

Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: £75,000–£85,000 base salary, plus annual performance bonus.
  • Core hours 9am – 6pm in office with occasional/limited expectation for out-of-hours coverage
  • Learning & Exposure: Direct insight into private equity transactions, strategic planning, and senior‑level decision‑making.
  • Autonomy: A role with significant responsibility and independence—shape processes and define your own workflow.
  • Fast‑Paced office dynamics: You’ll be the organisational linchpin of high‑impact decisions.
