A unique opportunity has arisen for a senior Executive Assistant to join a global investment fund in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, 1:1 role supporting the Head of Europe within their private equity team. The firm is extremely international and has grown considerably over the past 20 years as a major investor in prominent deals across the world. This role supports the head of Europe within a global investment management firm as Senior EA. You will manage their complex international travel schedule, and arrange meetings over time zones taking a wholly proactive approach to everything you do. This role will also involve organising large-scale events across North America and Europe, and social engagements specifically for the private equity team within the wider company. With 200 employees in the London office, you will be joining a collaborative, driven and growing business and will have experience working in a private equity or investment firm in a senior support capacity. You will therefore be meticulously detailed and a confident and concise communicator, which will be demonstrable through your ability to hit the ground running and work proactively from the start.

This role supports the head of Europe within a global investment management firm as Senior EA. You will manage their complex international travel schedule, and arrange meetings over time zones taking a wholly proactive approach to everything you do. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international travel, itineraries and expense reporting for the PE Head of Europe.
- Provide complex and ever-changing calendar, meeting and action item management.
- Represent the private equity team in various forums and meetings with external and internal guests.
- Act as an ambassador and ensure the PE team is viewed as a professional, friendly, easily accessible and approachable partner for internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to the daily activity of the department.
- Work cross functionally with other team members and departments to ensure we remain aligned with goals and values.
- A minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience as a senior assistant to a busy executive within private equity or investment management.
- Confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders from a multitude of backgrounds, across the organisational structure.
- Driven to succeed and thrive in the Assistant role, taking absolute pride in being relied upon to deliver exceptional organisational support.
- You will be unflappable when dealing with multiple requests, being able to confidently prioritise using your intuition.
- University/secretarial college graduate.
- You will be well presented and client-facing in your communication style. A desire to work in a fast-moving, international environment, with an interest in the investment sector is key.
