Overview
My client, a prestigious global investment management firm, is seeking a highly capable and intellectually agile Executive Assistant to support a Managing Director and team with a UK and European remit. This is an exceptional opportunity for a bright, well-educated EA who wants to operate in genuine partnership; going beyond traditional diary management to take ownership, proactively drive outcomes, and act as a trusted extension of the MD. Working with the wider team, you will be an integral part of the team, with full involvement and knowledge of projects, client work and important deliverables to ensure you can offer the best support possible.
Key Responsibilities
This role offers the chance to work in close partnership with a senior leader at a world-class global firm. For the right EA, it represents an exciting platform to take on responsibility, grow trusted relationships, and make a visible impact across UK and European operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide seamless, proactive support to the Managing Director and wider team, anticipating priorities and ensuring follow-through on tasks and actions.
- Take responsibility for monitoring deliverables and ensuring commitments are met.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with internal stakeholders, client EAs, and senior contacts across the business.
- Manage complex, international diaries and travel logistics.
- Organise and deliver flawless client dinners, senior events, and global AGMs with absolute care and attention to detail.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and communications.
- Represent the MD with professionalism and discretion at all times.
- Well-educated, articulate, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Experienced as an Executive Assistant within financial services, professional services, or an international corporate environment.
- Naturally proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational ability.
- Ambitious to do more than reactive diary and admin work—keen to partner, anticipate, and add value.
